Alexander is a physicist with a specialisation in solid state physics and materials physics.
During his studies, he had a special focus on the nanostructure and mechanical properties of biological materials and hierarchical fibre materials. An example of his research was small angle X-ray scattering and elastic properties of wood fibres at variable humidity. As an assistant at the university, Alexander got practice in planning, constructing and prototyping of scientific test devices.
As a DIY enthusiast and hobbyist, Alexander enjoys working with tools, machines, 3D printing, household appliances, and home technology and installations, with a particular interest in the underlying working principles. This interest in functional aspects also extends to industrial applications, manufacturing equipment, and processes.
Alexander is a patent attorney trainee at Puchberger & Partner Patentanwälte since 2022.
